Sprinkler Park Action

Sprinkler park fun! What a great day we all had thanks to sun, water and good friends. The boys and I were joined by friends Shannon and Jordan. The kids ran, laughed and best of all they got wet! This sprinkler park is a great place to take kids. We parents have plenty of room to lounge around and watch the kids (or go get wet ourselves) and not worry about our two year old jumping into the deep end. After Cooper looses interest he takes the paint brush we use for water fun and starts playing pirate. I guess boys will be boys.

Day Out With Thomas

A sunny, warm Sunday and a big, blue train. Happiness for hundreds of kids and headaches and empty pockets for the parents. This year was our third annual trip to Connersville for "A Day Out With Thomas". The day included a train ride on Thomas. Thomas carried us by a lawn mower junk yard, waste water treatment plant and many rusty old trains (scenery is something Connersville is definitely lacking). The kids then enjoyed pony rides, temporary tattoos, pumpkin train rides, Thomas play tables and of course the enormous tent full of Thomas paraphernalia. This was the first year for Mackey to be really into Thomas. He asks for "choo-chooo's " CONSTANTLY!!! Cooper was more excited about what he was going to get to buy and the orange sno-cone. All in all, it was a fun day had by all.

Fun With the Hose (and a little mud)

Emma & Cooper
Mackey & Cooper
A warm day, a garden hose, some mud, and friends. The kids got a good taste of what summer fun is all about!! The afternoon started with Mackey and the hose wanting to water the flowers. But with three other kids in the backyard, more was bound to happen. Mac started to create a nice mud puddle at the bottom of the slide and Cooper and Emma had a blast sliding down into the mud. They became dirty beyond all recognition. The clean freak in me just let it go and the kids had a blast. Amber (Emma & little Coop's mom) & I laughed so hard our sides hurt. Maybe we all need to play in the sprinkler and the mud this summer to remember what being a kid is all about.

Who ME?

Cooper is our little "ham". He is busy going to pre-K two days a week and getting in trouble the other five. He is full of energy and is NEVER quiet.

Mackey is always happy (well almost always) and can hold his own with his big brother. He was our quiet one for a long time but the words are starting to come. He prefers: NO, Mine, Me and GO. Typical two-year old.

Two Big Boys

Here they are. Big and Sassy! Cooper is 4 years and 10 months in this picture and Macguire is 2 years and 4 months. Mackey was not happy about getting his picture taken. The only way he wanted to sit down was if it was ON his big brother.

HERE WE ARE

After years of being webless, we have decided to make an addition to our family. So here we are in 2006 with a computer and the internet in the house. I'm sure when the new wears off of it I will no longer be treating it as my third child. I'm going to attempt to post pics of the boys and updates about all the great stuff they are doing. I'm sure there will be the not so great stuff too, but you have to take us with warts and all.
So, I have figured out how to do this with text. Let's see if I can figure out how to upload pics.
