CHRISTMAS

Santa did not disappoint again this year! The boys got their first "share" gift from Santa. They received the set of cars from the movie "Cars" that take and move. Instead of trying to figure out who got what, they were just sitting in front of the tree for both the boys to share (this is a new little trick that I picked up from my friend Renee).

This years presents were an assortment of Transformers, Cars, Diego and Star Wars for Cooper and Bob the Builder, Thomas The Train, Backyardigans and Cars for Mackey.

MORE CHRISTMAS

Mackey liked his Bob the Builder tool set. He went directly to the wall and started to fix it!

Cooper and his Darth Vadar mask

Mackey loves this show called the Backyardigans. "Tyrone" was one of his favorite gifts!

Christmas Continued!

There is something about Darth Vadar not wearing any pants that just makes him not so scary!

Cooper and his beloved "primus". He begged for this toy so of course it was the last one we had him open! Wha-ha-ha-ha (that is my evil laugh)

Mackey and TJ Bearytales. (Coop seems to like this thing more than Mac)

The boys are eating their special Christmas pancakes on their new cars plates. I don't think I will ever forgive Bob Evans for introducing them to m&m's in their pancakes!

Christmas Cookies!

Ho, Ho, Ho - We attempted the making of Christmas cookies!
I put the clean freak in myself away and let the boys sprinkle till their hearts were content!

Visit with friends

Have I mentioned that Mackey LOVES babies! We celebrated Christmas with our friends Jeremy and Heather and their two cutie pies Jack and Claire. Mackey couldn't get enough of Claire and kept insisting he hold her on his lap!
Isn't she beautiful!!!

Visit With Santa

Each year we go to see Santa at Caselton Square Mall. They always have a great Santa and this year he really earned his money. The crazy lady behind the camera told Cooper that if he didn't smile he was on the naughty list. Of course, he burst out into tears! Santa then worked really hard to get him happy and told him he was always at the top of the nice list. We love Santa!

Mexico!!!!!!!!

Mexico in December! We found the way to survive cold weather, leave. Dan and I went to Cancun the first week of December while the boys stayed a few days with each of our parents. We stayed at the Riu Palace Las Americas and had a fabulous time!
The hotel had 2 infinity edge pools which were about the coolest things I had ever seen. The water was beautiful, the hotel had wonderful service and even better food and best of all we had nothing to do but relax.

We enjoyed laying by the beach and soaking up the rays. It's great to have a tan in December, but this Indiana overcast is taking it away very quickly!

Thanksgiving Day

We hosted Thanksgiving here this year. My mom & dad, sister Shelley and her husband Jeff, my brother Tim and his fiance Amber and her little boy Elliott joined us. We had a nice visit and ate way to much food. We didn't take a family photo but "we girls" had our picture taken.

The boys had a great time roughing up Aunt Shelley.
That night as I was planning out my day after Thanksgiving shopping, the boys got to play in the newspaper ads after I was done with them. It amazes me what entertains a child! Posted by Picasa

Decorating The Tree

We decorated the tree early this year since we hosted Thanksgiving. The boys enjoyed it as always and Cooper was actually a really big help this year.

Mac decided that the stockings looked better as socks!
